The entire Grand Theft Auto franchise has sold over 350 million copies in total. They remain just behind Activision’s Call of Duty franchise that sold over 400 million copies all over. Grand Theft Auto 5 reached the 145 million sales figures in the month of May, which shows the accelerating popularity of GTA Online. GTA 5 sold over 5 million in just three months and is expected to grow more with the introduction of Los Santos Tuner update.

Which surpasses the previous title, Red Dead Redemption by 10 million. Reports suggest that GTA 5 has been the second-best-selling game in the United States over the past three years.
