GTA 6 might feature a Fortnite-like evolving map: Rockstar Games’ latest GTA title was GTA 5 which released back in 2013 and it has been a huge success since then. It is the second most successful video game of all time sitting just behind Minecraft and has already surpassed the 150 million sales mark. After the enormous success of GTA V, the gaming world is patiently waiting for the next Grand Theft Auto title from Rockstar Games, the GTA 6. According to various leaks, GTA 6 might introduce a map of modern-day Vice City and will be mainly based on Miami.

Previously, Tom Henderson, a popular video game leaker, reported that GTA 6 will feature an evolving map with lots of new additional features over previous GTA maps. GameSpot also supported the claim of Tom Henderson and revealed that the upcoming GTA title will reportedly feature a Fortnite-like evolving map. The GTA community didn’t really like the comparison with Fortnite as Rockstar Games have already implemented this concept in Red Dead Redemption 2.
Many reports also state that the Grand Theft Auto 6 is codenamed as ‘PROJECT AMERICAS’ and will feature both Vice City and Rio de Janeiro. A few days back, a managerial employee of Rockstar games music, Tony Mesones uploaded a picture of Miami’s South Beach on Instagram with the caption “who said it would be cold???” and tagged Rockstar Games on his post. Part of the community believes that GTA 6 will be offering a modern-day Vice City which will be mainly based on Miami. It would be interesting to see how Rockstar Games might introduce an evolving map in GTA 6 and how that will affect the overall gameplay and dynamics of the game.
