Sports Flashes will broadcast, promote and distribute the audio content of the ICC World 2019. The Indian multi-sport app has acquired the ICC World Cup 2019 exclusive global audio rights for from the UAE-based Channel 2 Group.
Sports Flashes also holds the BCCI’s global audio rights. It will also broadcast the audio content of the forthcoming Australian Open 2019 – the first tennis Grand Slam of the year. The digital audio platform is also airing the value-added audio content on India’s current tour of Australia.
The Channel 2 Group deal will ensure that the live audio feed of the ICC World Cup will be aired across the Sports Flashes App & Web platforms in India and the other audio platforms, including radion, across the globe. Sports Flashes is expecting that the ICC World Cup in England and Wales next year will have over 1 billion consolidated global audio content consumers.
