ICC WTC Final, IND vs NZ: 3 New Zealand IPL 2021 players who will feature in World Test Championship final- The final of World Test Championship is knocking on the door. Kane Williamson’s New Zealand will get to warm up for the big clash with two Test against England while Virat Kohli’s Team India will directly play the big match. The final will be played at Rose Bowl Cricket Stadium, Southampton from June 18. Ahead of the WTC final, many cricketers right from Kane Williamson to Trent Boult got the opportunity to play with and against some of the Test bound players from the Indian team in IPL 2021.

Kane Williamson (SRH)
Sunrisers Hyderabad’s newly appointed captain Kane Williamson had a decent IPL season this year. For the first few matches, he was not included in the playing XI but later in the four matches he played he scored 128 runs at a strike rate of 126.73. He replaced David Warner as the captain of SRH. There is another member of the SRH team who is in the squad for the WTC final, Wriddhiman Saha. The wicket-keeper batsman is likely to warm the bench as Rishabh Pant will don the gloves for Team India.
Kyle Jamieson (RCB)
New Zealand’s Kyle Jamieson played for Virat Kohli’s Royal Challengers Banglore in the IPL 2021. During the 2021 IPL Auction, the Kiwi all-rounder was signed by the RCB for a whopping sum of INR 15 crores, thereby making him RCB’s biggest buy at the auctions. Kyle lived up to his price tag as he picked nine wickets in seven games that he played. Virat also asked Kyle to bowl against him with the duke ball which will be used in the WTC final, however that could not happen as the league got suspended. Jamieson will play a vital role in Blackcaps success in the WTC final.
Trent Boult (Mumbai Indians)
Mumbai Indians premier bowler Trent Boult will be leading the New Zealand pace bowling attack in the WTC final. Boult had a decent season with eight wickets to his credit. Mumbai India’s skipper Rohit Sharma will also be featuring in the WTC final, opening the batting for India against his MI teammate Boult. Bowling against Rohit in the nets, Boult must have thought of an idea or a weak zone for Rohit, which he would use in the big match later next month.
