ICC WTC Final, KL Rahul health news: Indian opener KL Rahul on Wednesday gave an update on his health after undergoing appendicitis surgery. Bound for the World Test Championship final in June, the Punjab Kings captain had complained of acute pain in his stomach, a day before Punjab’s match against Delhi Capitals (DC). He was then shifted to a hospital after his pain did not subside by medication, where he was operated.
On Wednesday, the wicket-keeper batsman shared a health update with his Instagram followers. The Karnataka cricketer posted a picture of himself enjoying a nice vacation with his dogs on Instagram. He captioned it, “healing”.

BCCI had announced a 20-member for the WTC final and the five-match Test series against England.
Team India’s first stop will be in Southampton where they play New Zealand to decide the first champion of the Test format. Following their 3-1 win against England at home, India finished as the No. 1 side with 72.2 percentage points and booked their place in the final.
