ICC WTC Final: Top 5 batsmen with highest conversion rate in ICC World Test Championship-  The final of World Test Championship is just around the corner as Kane Williamson’s New Zealand gear up to take on Virat Kohli’s Team India at Southampton on June 18. Finishing on the top of the table India qualified for the WTC final while Blackcaps were placed 2nd just above Australia. 

Australia’s Marnus Labuschagne scored the highest runs so far in the WTC with five centuries to his credit in 23 innings. But do you know which batsman has the best conversion rate in ICC World Test Championship?

Fawad Alam 100%

Pakistan talisman Fawad Alam turned the clock backwards in the WTC. In six Tests that he played, he got to bat in 11 innings in which he scored 320 with the help of two centuries. Every time Fawad scored a fifty he went on to score a 100. His average was 35.55 and he remained not out twice. 

Mominul Haque 100%

Bangladesh’s Mominul Haque also has a 100% conversion rate in WTC. The talisman has scored 534 runs in seven WTC games with the help of two centuries. He averages above 40 and has the highest score of 127.

Kane Williamson 75.0% 

New Zealand captain Kane Williamson is third on this list with a 75% conversion rate. It was Kane’s consistency with the bat that helped Kiwis reach the final of the WTC. Williamson is the leading run-scorer for New Zealand in ICC World Test Championship. The New Zealand skipper has scored 817 runs in 14 innings. The right-handed batsman Kane Williamson has smashed 3 centuries and 2 half-centuries in the tournament.

David Warner 75.0% 

David Warner was at top of his form in the initial phase of the WTC. Warner scored 948 runs in 12 matches with the help of three centuries and one fifty. The south-paw had an average of 47.40. His highest score came against Pakistan when he scored 335* in a day-night Test match. 

Shan Masood 75.0% 

Another Pakistan batsman features in the list as Shan Masood has a conversion rate of 75% in WTC. Shan played 10 matches in WTC in which he got to bat in 17 innings. He scored 585 runs with the help of three tons and one fifty under his belt. Shan just missed out once to make it big after scoring a fifty. His average in WTC was 34.41.
