STAR India bagged the Best Digital and Social Media Advertiser crown at the IDM Awards. The leading sports broadcaster of the country also walked away with three medals for its kabaddi campaigns.
At the Indian Digital Media Awards 2017 (IDMA) kabaddi also emerged a strong performer, off the mat and BARC charts. STARs innovative ways, which catapulted kabaddi to the most successful non-cricketing commercial sport in the country, were duly recognized by the awards jury.
Pro Kabaddi League Season 3 and 4 bagged gold in the Best Integrated Media Campaign category.
Khel kabaddi, the unique and interactive online game which offered fans a virtual connect with the sport, earned a bronze in the Best Use of Web Based Games category.
STAR Sports also bagged another bronze in the WAP/Html/other sites for mobile category for the Kabaddi World Cup.
