IND vs ENG 2nd Test: Wood’s bouncer shakes up Bumrah, India bowler gets involved in heated exchange

IND vs ENG 2nd Test: Wood’s bouncer shakes up Bumrah, India bowler gets involved in heated exchange: England have taken the perfect revenge for what Jasprit Bumrah did to James Anderson during England’s first innings. Jasprit Bumrah and Mark Wood saga is going out of hands now. It all started with Bumrah firing a series of short balls to Anderson on Day 3. Mark Wood takes revenge doing the same and there is a heated exchange between the two and Jos Buttler in the middle. India have a lead of 200 lead.

Former England pacer Steven Harmison reacting to the battle between England pacer and Indian tailenders said. “They completely lost the plot. That half an hour period after getting Rishabh Pant, what on earth happened to the England cricket team? They didn’t have any slips, no catchers in any position while bowling at numbers 9 and 10. A good ball to Virat Kohli is a good ball to Mohammed Shami and Jasprit Bumrah.”
“When the verbals were coming round, it was good entertainment. You want to see two passionate groups going head-to-head. But England just seemed to get one eye off trying to get Jasprit Bumrah out by bowling bouncers at him. India though played fantastic cricket,” he added.
