The ECB further said that Wood will remain with the squad in Leeds and will continue his rehab with the England medical team. The 31-year-old will undergo a final assessment at the end of the third Test match.

Besides this, Mahmood has an impressive List A and First-Class record at Lancashire with 129 wickets in 56 appearances.
