Virat Kohli and company hit nets

India captain Virat Kohli, vice-captain Ajikya Rahabe and KL Rahul can be seen batting in the nets while Ishant Sharma, Ravindra Jadeja and R Ashwin were seen bowling against them. Rohit Sharma can be seen warming up while Rishabh Pant is trying to up his wicket-keeping skills.

IND vs ENG 3rd Test: Team India opening batsman Prithvi Shaw, who was added to the Indian squad after the completion of India’s limited-overs tour to Sri Lanka last month, shared a photo on his Instagram account where he can be seen on the bus to Leeds with Rohit Sharma, Shardul Thakur, Ajinkya Rahane and Suryakumar Yadav. Interestingly, all the five cricketers in the photo are from Mumbai. 

“Travel day 🚌 Off to Leeds,” Prithvi wrote in the caption of the post.

Earlier, India’s vice-captain in Tests- Ajinkya Rahane was seen having some quality time with the family amid the near-to-10-day break available ahead of the third Test against England at Headingley, Leeds. After some offshore performance on the three occasions of the first two Tests, Rahane got some moment to savour after the Lord’s Test. After rendering some fine performance with willow, the Indian batsman is happily spending time with his daughter Aarya and wife Radhika in England.
