India beat England – India Breaks Oval Jinx: Virat Kohli and Co. created history on Monday as Team India claimed a historic win at the Oval Test. India claimed an epic comeback to clinch the match on Day 5, bowling out England for just 210. The win meant that India claimed their first win at the venue at the Oval in 50 years, as the visitors took a 2-1 series lead heading into the final match of the tour.

India beat England – India Breaks Oval Jinx: India had lost at the Oval on their last three tours, but Virat Kohli and Co. broke that jinx to clinch their first-ever win at the venue in over 50 years. Jasprit Bumrah and Ravindra Jadeja starred on the final day as England were shot out for 210 on a day conducive for batting. The victory was a team effort with Shardul Thakur contributing with fifties in both innings and wickets, while Rohit Sharma scored a scintillating century in the third innings, his first hundred overseas.

India had set England a record chase of 368, amassing 466 in the third innings after conceding a 99-run lead in the first innings. The highest successful Test run chase at The Oval is the 263-9 England scored against Australia in 1902, while only four times in first-class history at the ground has a side chased more than 350 in the fourth innings.

Bhagwath Chandrasekhar picked up an epic six-wicket haul to bowl out England for 101 in their second innings, as Ajit Wadekar and Dilip Sardesai put on a crunch stand on the final day to seal a four-wicket win.
