Ind vs Eng: Amid all the talks about Ravindra Jadeja’s career and the challenges to get back in the national setup, the allrounder is back on the field and has started training. In a video on Twitter, Jadeja said, “Back on the field #firstday #postsurgery.” The seven-second clip shows him running at a training ground.

The 32-year-old had suffered multiple injuries in the recently concluded Border-Gavaskar Trophy. He suffered a thumb injury, hamstring and was hit on the head after which India had to opt for a concussion substitute.
Earlier today, Sunil Gavaskar had questioned if that the injury is taking too long for dislocated thumb to cure. “He got hit on the 10th of January and it is now the end of February, for a dislocated thumb [injury] to take that long [to recover],” Gavaskar said on Star Sports.
The cricketer is not named in the upcoming 5-match T20I series against England. The series will begin March 12.
The cricketer might play for India in the 50-over format if he is able to recover on time. The Selection Committee is yet to announce the ODI team for India against England.
It could be tough for Jadeja to get back in the national setup as Washington Sundar and Axar Patel have grabbed the opportunities with both their hands in the ongoing Test series. Jadeja was left out of the India squad following his injury after the third Test in Australia.
