Ind vs Eng: England star all-rounder Ben Stokes landed in India on Monday, and is now undergoing mandatory quarantine for 5 days in Chennai ahead of the upcoming four-match Test series against Team India.

Interestingly, the 29-year-old Stokes shared a series of Instagram stories, describing his plan of action for the next five days.

“Day 1 quarantine, I have done a fair bit of quarantine, have to try to make my bed every day, not the best job, but have to do it. So that’s basically me for the next five days,” Stokes posted in one of his Instagram stories.

In another Instagram story, the World Cup-winner can be seen playing the video game “Call Of Duty”.

Notably, Stokes has landed in India with the other members of the squad who were not a part of the just-concluded Test series against Sri Lanka. He will be joined in hotel quarantine by fast bowler Jofra Archer and opener Rory Burns who were also rested for the Test series in Sri Lanka.

The rest of the England team, led by Joe Root, will arrive in Chennai on Wednesday and complete a mandatory quarantine period. They will only get 3 days to train for the much-anticipated 4-Test series.

The big-ticket series starts in Chennai on February 5 and the team’s training is scheduled to commence from February 2.

The four-match rubber assumes added significance keeping in the mind the World Test Championship.

India, who are currently heading the table, will look to maintain their pole position while England, placed fourth at the moment, will hope to move up and inch towards a place in the WTC final.
