Ind VS Eng live: Australia captain Aaron Finch enjoying India VS England Lord’s Test from his hospital bed, check out – Australia captain Aaron Finch, who is in hospital for knee surgery, is enjoying 2nd Test between India and England at Lord’s on Thursday. Finch sustained the injury during a practice session leading into the T20I series against the West Indies in St Lucia, which he further aggravated in the final game of that series which the hosts won 4-1.

Ind VS Eng live: Finch posted a photo from his hospital bed, where he can be seen watching cricket and golf at the same time. In the photo, Finch’s injured leg can also be seen. He is wearing a knee cap over it. “@kayosports to the rescue tonight in hospital! ⛳️🏌🏽♂️🏏,” Finch wrote in the caption of the photo.
“I’m extremely disappointed to be heading home. This was considered the best course of action rather than travelling to Bangladesh, not being able to play and losing that recovery time. I will have the surgery if required and start the recovery process ahead of the World Cup,” Finch said after getting injured.

Finch is expected to make a return to the Australian squad ahead of the ICC T20 World Cup in UAE.
Ind VS Eng live: Meanwhile, Indian openers Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul brought out their A-game to the middle as the visitors went into the lunch break without losing a single wicket against England on the opening day of the second Test at the Lord’s Cricket Ground on Thursday. Put into bat under overcast conditions, both Rohit and Rahul dug in to take the honours in the first session.

At the lunch break, India’s score read 46/0 with Rohit (35*) and Rahul (10*) currently unbeaten at the crease. The first session saw few interruptions due to rain and as a result, only 18.4 overs were bowled in the session.
