Ind vs Eng Pink-ball Test: England players go crazy after seeing magnificent Motera- It will be a sight to watch when India takes on England in the historic pink-ball Test in Ahmedabad on Wednesday. The third Test will be played in the World’s largest cricket stadium (Motera/ now Sardar Patel Stadium). The venue will host an international match after a gap of over six years. Incidentally, it is also the first Day/Night Test at the Motera Stadium (only second in India).

The picturesque stadium has been renovated over the past few years. The crowd capacity has increased to 1,10,000. Earlier, Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), Australia was the largest cricket stadium in the world, allowing up to 1 lakh spectators.

As the world’s largest cricket stadium gears up to host the pink-ball Test, excitement levels are high in both India and England camp.

The England players have gone frenzy after seeing the Motera stadium, which is evident from their social media posts. They can’t wait to get back into action.

England pacer Stuart Broad recently took to Twitter to share the ‘1st look’ of the stadium. “1st look at Cricket’s largest stadium, 110,000 capacity pretty impressive,” the 34-year-old wrote on the micro-blogging site. The 34-year-old pacer is just two wickets away to go past Courtney Walsh (519 wickets).

England’s legendary bowler James Anderson, who is eyeing an individual record (eight-wickets behind Anil Kumble’s 619 wickets) at Motera, also shared a video on Twitter. In the 10-second clip, he can be seen bowling in the practice session with the spectacular sight of Motera Stadium in the background.
