Ind vs Eng Test series: The first test of the India vs England test series is scheduled on the 5th of February. India are on the bounce of a quality series vs Australia. In the wake of the first Test, England captain Joe Root shared how his players are preparing against India.

Joe Root said in an interview to The Hindu, “Patience will be the key to our batting.” He said, “It is necessary to take the Test long against a strong team like India. Joe Root underlined that along with patience, the English batsmen will have to focus on their defence. Root said, “Usually English players who play against the seam will have to play patiently. You have to accept that the ball will turn and dodge your bat. You can make a mistake on one or two occasions, but you have to be calm, you have to see where you are scoring and where you are hitting fours. ”

Indian and English players were found negative on Monday before the Test started on Friday. This report comes after six days of mandatory quarantine of Covid-19.

A four-match Test, a five-match T20 and a three-match ODI series will be played between India and England from February 5 to March 28.
