Ind vs Eng Test series| ‘Takleef hua hai bechare ko’: Pietersen brutally trolled after ‘distasteful tweet’ on India victory-Former England batsman Kevin Pietersen was trolled brutally on social media on Tuesday. He had shared a distasteful tweet after India thrashed England by 317 runs in the second Test. The hosts were bowled twice for 134 and 164. Apart from Joe Root, who scored 33, no other batsman to spend time in the middle. All-rounder Moeen Ali, who will be under the hammer for IPL 2021 auction, slammed 43 off 18 to provide some entertainment to the England fans.

 

Debutant Axar Patel claimed a five-for, while Ravichandran Ashwin won the match of the match on the back of his all-round performance. India scored 329 and 286 in their first and second innings respectively. Rohit Sharma (161) and R Ashwin (106) slammed centuries in first and second innings.

 

As soon as the match came to an end, Pieterson took to Twitter taking a dig at India’s performance. “Badhai ho india, England B ko harane ke liye,” said Pietersen.

The visitors played the second Test in absence of James Anderson, Jofra Archer, Jonny Bairstow and Jos Buttler. While Archer missed the game because of an injury, the others were rested.

 

A few days ago, Pietersen had shared another distasteful tweet after England won the opening match by 277 runs.  “India, yaad hai maine pehele hi chetawani di thi ke itna jasn na manaye jab aapne Australia ko unke ghar pe haraya tha (India, I had warned you earlier not to celebrate too much after defeating Australia in their backyard),” he had said in his earlier post.
