The entire series has been under the threat of rain. In the 2nd T20I, there were few passing showers at the end even though it did not last long and the game was successfully completed. In the third match of the ODI series, due to rain, the match was reduced to 47 overs per side.

With this win, Sri Lanka has levelled the three-match series at 1-1. The final game will be played on Thursday.
