Independence Day 2021: Sachin Tendulkar, Harbhajan Singh, Yuvraj Singh extend wishes – 15th August is always a cause of celebration and this year marks India’s 75th Independence Day. Wishes have poured in from all across the country as athletes have extended their wishes on the occasion. The likes of Sachin Tendulkar, Harbhajan Singh, Yuvraj Singh have all showed their nationalist spirit and took to social media on Sunday.

Master-Blaster Sachin Tendulkar took to Twitter to send his wishes to the netizens. Tendulkar wrote that he always wore the Indian flag with pride on his helmet and reminded him of why stepped onto the field.

Sachin Tendulkar’s teammates Yuvraj Singh and Harbhajan Singh also took to Twitter to extend their wishes on India’s 75th Independence Day. The former all-rounder said that freedom Freedom is precious, let’s respect and enjoy it responsibly. Harbhajan Singh wrote an emotional tribute to the people who sacrificied their lives for the nation.

Chennai Super Kings star Robin Uthappa is currently in the UAE preparing for the upcoming IPL 2021 Phase 2. The former KKR star also wished the netizens on Twitter, and wrote, “May our flag fly forever high!!! Vande Mataram!!”. Former India batsmen VVS Laxman, Irfan Pathan, Aakash Chopra and Mohammad Kaif also took to social media to wish netizens on India’s 75th Independence Day.

Former England captain Kevin Pietersen also wished fans in India on the occasion of India’s 75th Independence Day. Pietersen wrote in Hindi, that he missed his time and he couldn’t wait to be back in the country.

Legendary Indian boxer MC Mary Kom also extended her wishes on social media and extending her warm greetings to all her fellow Indians. Archer Atanu Das, India women’s hockey team captain Rani Rampal also took to social media to wish the netizens on India’s 75th Independence Day.
