Amit Panghal, one of India’s medal favourites will begin his Olympics campaign when he faces off against Colombia’s Yurberjen Herney Martínez Rivas. However, he starts off with a difficult fixture, with Martinez having won the silver at the Rio Olympics five years ago. Panghal got a bye in the first round, and needs just two wins to confirm a spot at the podium, and will be India’s biggest hope for a medal.
