India, the new gaming nation, emerges as the 7th among countries Tweeting the most about Gaming: Right after the boom in Indian Esports, especially in mobile gaming, a large portion of social media along with many other platforms was overtaken by gaming content & conversations. Globally, the ever-growing interest in Gaming & Esports resulted in 2 billion Tweets from January – June 2020. Since then, Twitter, the American microblogging and social networking service saw an 18% growth spike on gaming trends while we are just midway through 2021.
