TV Today network’s India Today channel will broadcast a 12-part special show ‘Inspiration’ on the life and journey of India’s sporting heroes. Sports anchor and producer Boria Majumdar will be engaged in the 12, hour-long shows which are being described as the “most open conversation ever” to draw inspiration from the legendary sportspersons.
The first episode on December 30, Saturday, will feature Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli in conversation with the show host Majumdar. The Board of Control for Cricket in India president Sourav Ganguly and Sachin Tendulkar are next in that order for the 12-episode series.
“The Inspiration is an effort to decode these sporting icons’ stories in a manner which has never been done before,” says Majumdar. “They are all inspirations. The idea is to bring out the stories of their inspiration, which have not been heard before.”
