India tour of England – Rishabh Pant is back, Ravi Shastri ‘over the moon’: Team India’s wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant, who was tested positive for COVID-19 in England, has recovered from the virus and joined the Virat Kohli led Team India – and guess what who was the happiest to recieve Pant in the Indian team. Pant joined his team in Durham and none other than coach Ravi Shastri gave him GRAND-WELCOME.

India tour of England – Rishabh Pant is back, Ravi Shastri ‘over the moon’: Indian team reported two positive COVID-19 cases in wicket-keeper Rishabh Pant and throwdown specialist Dayanand Garani, who had been isolated at separate London locations. Three others — Abhimanyu Easwaran, Wriddhiman Saha and bowling coach Bharat Arun — have also been in isolation as Garani’s close contacts.

What is the situation with other Indian cricketers and support staff members who were quarantined?

  • Team sources told InsideSport that the quarantine period for Abhimanyu Easwaran, Wriddhiman Saha and bowling coach Bharat Arun will only end on 24th July.
  • All 3 according to the information available have tested negative repeatedly.
  • The information InsideSport has, according to that none of them will be part of the 2nd practice match.
  • As far as Garani is concerned, he will stay in complete isolation for some more time.
