India Tour of England – Rishabh Pant Quarantine Ends: After ending quarantine post-Covid-19 diagnosis, Rishabh Pant is all set to join Virat Kohli-led Team India squad in Durham on July 20. Pant has been isolating at a relative’s home after contracting COVID-19 while on a 20-day break. He was asymptomatic and now that he has recovered, his quarantine has ended on Sunday. This means Pant is now free to leave the quarantine and join the team for practice.

India Tour of England – Rishabh Pant Quarantine Ends: According to the information available with InsideSport.co – though Pant’s quarantine ended on Sunday, he will still not join the team before 22nd July. This means Pant can play the 2nd practice match scheduled before the 1st Test on August 4th. Team Sources informed InsideSport that Pant will be joining the team either on 22nd or 23rd in Durham.

India will play a warm-up match in Durham against Select County XI from Tuesday.

India Tour of England: Quarantine for Rishabh Pant ends, what about Wriddhiman Saha and others?

Indian team reported two positive COVID-19 cases in wicket-keeper Pant and throwdown specialist Dayanand Garani, who had been isolated at separate London locations. Three others — Abhimanyu Easwaran, Wriddhiman Saha and bowling coach Bharat Arun — have also been in isolation as Garani’s close contacts. Team sources told InsideSport that the quarantine period for  Abhimanyu Easwaran, Wriddhiman Saha and bowling coach Bharat Arun will only end on 24th July. All 3 according to the information available have tested negative repeatedly.

As far as Garani is concerned, he will stay in complete isolation for some more time.

India Tour of England: BCCI supports Rishabh Pant

India Tour of England: Sourav Ganguly, BCCI President said Rishabh Pant would recover before the 1st Test, “No worries. They will be fine. We have seen the Euro Championship and Wimbledon in England. Rules have changed (with crowd being allowed inside venues). They were on leave and it’s physically impossible to wear mask all the time,” Ganguly, who is in the UAE, told News18.

India Tour of England – India vs Select County XI LIVE: Meanwhile, focus shifts to India’s warm-up match against Select County XI. After BCCI Secretary Jay Shah spoke to ECB CEO Tom Harrison and arranged a three-day warm-up match as skipper Virat Kohli demanded. While the bunch of players Virat Kohli & Co will be facing are not England’s best, but nonetheless, it will be a good opportunity for Indian players to get some crucial red-ball practice that they lacked before the WTC Final against New Zealand.

India Tour of England – India vs Select County XI LIVE: The world number two test side will use Emirates Riverside as a home venue for their preparations this summer, and will get underway with the three-day game against Select County XI.

India Tour of England – India vs Select County: The three-day game will see a number of players from the county circuit feature as they go up against the Indian national side. Play will get underway at 11 AM on Tuesday with 90 overs scheduled per day with the game being played strictly behind closed doors.
