India Tour of England: Suryakumar Yadav pens down emotional message for wife on Friendship Day – Team India batsman Suryakumar Yadav, who is in Sri Lanka after the limited-overs series against, penned down an emotional message for his wife Devisha Shetty on Friendship Day. Yadav along with Prithvi Shaw is expected to fly to England to join Virat Kohli and co for the five-match Test series as three Indian players were injured. (ENG vs IND)

SKY posted photos with his wife with the caption,” A very happy friendship day to my best friend, the one who is always there to support me in all the good, bad and crazy @devishashetty_.”

The couple met in 2012 at the R.A. Poddar College of Commerce & Economics, Mumbai, the batsman was mesmerised by Devisha’s dance. Devisha has worked as a volunteer for ‘The Lighthouse Project, a non-governmental organization (NGO) from a period of 2013 to 2015. She got married to Suryakumar on 7th July 2016. The couple is happily married and they have often seen each together in parties or other events enjoying each others company.

Meanwhile, BCCI’s plans to send Suryakumar Yadav and Prithvi Shaw as soon as possible to England had taken a major hit after 3 Indian players tested positive in Colombo. A BCCI official has confirmed to InsideSport that Suryakumar and Shaw will only be eligible to travel to England only after testing negative 3 consecutive times. (ENG vs IND)

It is worth noting that, both Shaw & Surya have already been tested twice and they, fortunately, are negative. The third and final test will be conducted on Saturday morning. If once again they test negative – they will be allowed to travel to London or otherwise, they will have to stay back in Colombo itself.

Team India will take on England in the first test starting on August 4 at Nottingham.
