India will play against Will Rhodes’s County Select XI in a three-day practise match starting July 20 (Tuesday). The players have been asked to regroup in Durham immediately after COVID-19 positive cases were reported from the team.

Rishabh Pant and throwdown specialist Dayanand Garani have tested positive for COVID-19 while Wriddhiman Saha and 2 other support staff have been sent into isolation. The players are likely to return on the field for the practice match after testing negative for COVID-19.
Young Lions head coach Richard Dawson will oversee a County Select XI play India at the Emirates Riverside in a three-day match. The match will be played behind closed doors and will form part of India’s warm-up schedule ahead of the LV= Insurance Test Series.
