India vs Australia 1st Test: Good News for Australia, pacer Mitch Starc returns for 1st Test in Adelaide

India vs Australia 1st Test – Trump card Mitchell Starc returns : Pacer Mitch Starc is all set to return to the Australia squad for the 1st Test in Adelaide against India which will start from December 17 (Thursday). The fast bowler had left the white-ball squad on compassionate grounds after learning of a family illness.

Cricket Australia confirmed that Starc will fly from Sydney to Adelaide on Many via chartered flight which will also have Sean Abbott, Joe Burns, Marcus Harris, Cameron Green and Mitch Swepson, along with India’s Test squad.

“We feel for Mitch at this difficult time and we’re happy he has taken time out to spend with his family,” said Australian men’s head coach Justin Langer to Cricket Australia.

“We look forward to welcoming him back into the squad on Monday.”

The left-arm seamer has played 10 pink ball games, in which he has chipped 59 wickets at 18.62 runs on average.
