India vs England, 1st Test: Dinesh Karthik enjoys a ride around Nottingham ahead of Day 2; Watch video: Indian cricketer Dinesh Karthik who appeared in the commentary persona during the World Test Championship final between India and New Zealand, is currently in the United Kingdom (UK) as a commentator for Sky Sports. While the 36-year old is serving in the broadcasting segment in ongoing India vs England Test series, he casually rode on a bike around Nottingham. Karthik’s wanderlust side glared up in Sky Sports recent Twitter which featured the Indian player strolling the England city lanes.

The post captioned, “𝘿𝙆 𝙤𝙣 𝙩𝙤𝙪𝙧! Robin Hood European castle Nottingham Castle Ye Olde Trip @TrentBridge @DineshKarthik goes for a ride around Nottingham to see the sights ahead of Day 2 of #ENGvIND.”
A minute half long clip commenced featuring Karthik saying, “I have been in Nottingham lots of times for the Indian cricket team. But this is the first time I am coming here as a commentator with Sky. Look what they are making me do. Expecting me to take this bike, go all around the Nottingham city centre which I have never witnessed as a player. So I am really excited about this.”
Strolling Nottingham’s streets casually, Karthik gave spectators a view of Robin Hood statue soon after which he mockingly featured a famous vendor claiming as the real Robin Hood. The person reckoned that he had been here for 100 years.
Karthik then journeyed the viewers through England’s oldest inn, Nottingham Castle which he claimed was built in 1068.
“I didn’t realize being a commentator I had to do this but it was a lot of fun,” following which Karthik signed in to the cricket contest currently happening at Trent Bridge in Nottingham.
