Gujarat Lions are likely to be without the services of West Indian all- rounder Dwayne Bravo in the opening matches of IPl 2017 . Bravo is apparently down with a hamstring injury.
Bravo hurt his hamstring while attempting a diving catch for the Melbourne Renegades in a Big Bash League match, since then the West Indian ace have been out of action.
“Dwayne Bravo was suffering from hamstring injury from past few months. We are expecting him to join us in India in 1st week of April. He may miss the initial couple of matches,” Gujarat Lions franchise owner Keshav Bansal was quoted as saying by Cricbuzz.
Bravo’s absence will hurt Gujarat prospective as he was one of their main weapons with the ball in their debut season in 2016. The new IPL franchise will be playing their second season and are lead by Suresh Raina
