International Yoga Day: Former India batsman and current Chennai Super Kings (CSK) star Suresh Raina has been quite active in off-field activities and social media since his retirement from international cricket in 2020. Cricketer turned author- Suresh Raina, who released his autobiography ‘Believe’ earlier this month, posted a tweet emphasizing the importance of yoga as the world celebrates International Yoga Day.

Suresh Raina posted a meaningful long message on Twitter deliberating fans on the essence of yoga in our daily routine. Besides posting the pictures of him and his daughter performing the morning yoga session, CSK’s Suresh Raina tweeted, “On this #InternationalDayOfYoga let’s indulge in the harmony of nature, uniting the mind & body, thoughts & actions. It’s a reminder for all of us to include yoga in our everyday routine & involve the younger generations too for a holistic approach to health & well-being.”

While Suresh Raina continues to feature in the Yellow jersey for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the Indian Premier League (IPL), he is taking up unique activities in the second innings of his life.
Recently on June 14, Raina released his autobiography ‘Believe — What Life and Cricket Taught Me’ on June 14. Raina’s new guise as an author surfaced on a Twitter post on Sunday, when the news glared as he was signing copies of the books.
Cricketer’s book- ‘Believe’ co-authored by Bharat Sundaresan entails his journey in Indian cricket and how he drew inspiration from Sachin Tendulkar’s word- ‘Believe.’
The left-handed batsman, often known as Mr Dependable, amassed 123 runs and featured in all seven matches CSK played in the first phase of IPL 2021. Raina will most likely don the yellow jersey from September when the second leg of IPL 2021 would resume in the United Arab Emirates (UAE.)
