The IOA has tweeted a Borosil TVC featuring Punia on the Twitter account. Capturing the essence of the commercial TVC of #JhandaGaadKeAana.
The video is a pointer that Bajrang has lived yet another commitment to his Jakarta gold. A kid playing a lead in the video has offered Bajrang a tri-colour with a plea #GaadKeAana (Hoist it there). As they say in chaste Haryanavi, Bajrang has literally #JhandaaGaadDiya (hoisted the flag).
The TVC, that also features Indian wrestlers Hardeep Singh and Pawan Kumar, features a kid running through the narrow streets, crossing various barriers as symbolised by the energetic background song urging and motivating everyone to keep on moving amid all adversities and limitations.
As the kid reaches the place from where the #TeamIndia bus is about to leave, the three wrestlers come down from the bus to see him out of breath and panting. “Jhande gaad ke aana,” (go for victory) the kid tells Punia handing him a miniature Indian flag.
Punia, with his Asian Games triumph in 65kg freestyle, has not only fulfilled the promises of winning gold to his country, sponsors, family and his mentor Yogeshwar Duut but also to the kid in the TVC wishing luck to the Indian contingent ahead the Asian Games in Jakarta.

“What a priceless moment it was to see you win, made us all proud! #ProudMoment #IAmTeamIndia”
With his exuberant show in the Asian Games, the charged up Punia is already vying for a Tokyo 2020 Olympics gold two years ahead.
