The Mohali-based IPL team, hunting their maiden IPL title, are the last of the eight IPL franchisees to secure a title for the upcoming season 12.
Even as a formal announcement is still awaited from the franchisee so the India’s No. 1, sabse tej New Channel, InsideSport.co has reliably learnt that the deal has been inked.
Kings XI Punjab will play their first game of the IPL 2019 on Monday, March 25, in Rajasthan with Aajtak most prominently inscribed on the team jersey.
The team last year was sponsored by water purifier brand Kent RO. One of the biggest investors in cricket inventory, Kent RO this year had declined to extend the deal. The Punjab IPL franchisee had to wait virtually till the last minute to find a replacement.
The team had also got Bhageshree Infratech Private Limited a new brand among other Principal Sponsors Jio Digital, Fena Detergent, Royal Stag and Finolex Cables.
Coca-Cola, Dream11, boAt and Kingfisher are among the other partners.
