IPL 2019: Opener to be LIVE on Star India’s GEC, Regional network

The Indian Premier League opener will not have an entertainer opening ceremony this year. As a token of respect to the Pulwama martyrs. However, the Indian Premier League season opener on March 23, Saturday, will be live on numerous entertainment channels across Star India network – regional included.

The opening match will be broadcast live on Star India 16 channels. The LIVE broadcast for the season opener between hosts and defending champions Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore will start from 6 PM on Saturday, March 23.

Army bands will perform prior to the match as a symbolic opening ceremony.

Here are the games scheduled for the first week of the IPL 2019 with the match timings and broadcast channels.
