In form batsman Shaw tried to play outside the line of the delivery and it took an inside edge before crashing into the middle stump.

Interestingly, Archer celebrated the wicket by performing the traditional Assamese Bihu dance.

The dance form appears to be catching up with RR’s squad, as the team’s batsmen Riyan Parag, who hails from Assam, had earlier been seen celebrating the victory in the similar fashion last week when he smashed a six to win the game for his side against Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Interestingly, the official twitter handle of Indian Premier League posted a video on the micro-blogging site in which Archer can be seen rehearsing Bihu dance moves with Parag.

Talking about the match, DC skipper Shreyas Iyer won the toss and opted to bat first at the Dubai International Stadium and riding on Shikhar Dhawan’s 57 off 33 balls and Iyer’s 53 off 43 balls, Delhi posted a modest total of 161/7 in the allotted 20 overs.

On the other hand, Archer was pick of the bowlers for RR as he bagged three wickets and gave away just 19 runs in his four overs. He accounted for Shaw, Ajinkya Rahane and Marcus Stoinis.

Notably, DC are second on the points table with 10 points from seven games, while RR are seventh in the tally with six points from seven games.
