Sunrisers Hyderabad will be a happy team as their former captain Kane Williamson was back in the side for the Indian Premier League 2020 match against Delhi Capitals at Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium, Abu Dhabi on Tuesday.
The New Zealand batsman had missed the first two matches of the season due to a quadriceps injury. However, the right-handed top-order batsman finally made a comeback and replaced Afghanistan all-rounder Mohammad Nabi in the playing eleven for the game against DC.
Interestingly, Williamson made his presence in his first match of IPL 2020 as he smashed 41 runs off 26 balls, which included 5 fours.
Meanwhile, fans on Twitter were elated with Williamson finally getting a chance in the SRH playing XI and this is how they reacted:

Kane Williamson has just showed the world the importance of experience and having a calm head! He also proved today that sometimes quietly getting the job done is as effective as getting it done with flamboyance! 😊 #IPL2020 #SRHvDC

Talking about the match then, David Warner (45), Jonny Bairstow (53) and Williamson (41) helped SRH score 162-4 after they were put to bat first.
Notably, Hyderabad is yet to win a match in IPL 2020 as they have lost both their games till now against Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kolkata Knight Riders.
SRH is currently at the bottom of the points table and with Williamson back in the side, the team will be hopeful of putting their campaign back on track.
