7.25pm
KKR wins by 2 runs
Maxwell tried to hit the last ball for six but it fell short by an inch or so. Exceptional death bowling for the Knight Riders to turn around their fortunes late in the match and restrict KXIP to 162/5 after 20 overs.

Mandeep sweeps but does not get enough of it and is held in the deep on the on side. 7 needed off 1. 6 for Super Over.
7.17pm

Prasidh back on and completes the spell. Narine bowled a superb 18th over and now Krishna has produced another good one. Two wickets and just six runs. The match can go either way now! KXIP-151/4 after 19 overs; need 14 from 6 balls
7.16pm
Excellent from Krishna
That is just brilliant from KKR. Krishna bowls a fuller length, Rahul swings hard, bottom edge of the bat hits the stumps. Rahul is gone.
7.15pm
Krishna gets his 2nd wicket
Prabhsimran Singh fails to make any impact as he walks back to the pavilion for 4. Maxwell is the new man in. FOW-149/3
7.10pm

Costly from KKR
Punjab have nine wickets in hand, a settled Rahul and an explosive Pooran in the middle as they continue with the blitzkrieg. Both of them hit Nagarkoti brutishly — two fours and a six;19 off the over. KXIP-136/1 after 16 overs; need more 29 from 24 balls.
6.51pm

6.48pm
KKR gets a breakthrough finally!
Mayank goes. He got the ball on the pads and flicked it fine, but just fine enough to that fielder in the deep on the on side. Fine innings comes to an end with Gill completing that catch.
#KKR finally gets the breakthrough.
The 115-run partnership is broken as Mayank Agarwal is caught in the deep. Departs for 56 runs.

Agarwal has upped the ante in the last over against Nagarkoti hitting two boundaries, but it falls flat a bit in the next as Chakravarthy restricts him for singles. However he manages to find the boundary on the last ball of the over. KXIP-94/0 after 12 overs; need more 71 from 48 deliveries
6.31pm
Kamlesh Nagarkoti back on. Spinners had put a stop on boundaries but with pace on, Agarwal is back to hitting those boundaries again. Top quality shots from the opening batter. KXIP-86/0 after 11 overs; need more 79 from 54 deliveries
6.24pm
KXIP-76/0 after 10 overs; need more 89 from 60 deliveries

5.51pm

KXIP-8/0 after 2 overs

Why Gayle is not in KingsXI Punjab team
7 matches without Chris Gayle, why ask KXIP fans ?
We don’t know yet if Gayle has recovered from the bout of food poisoning that kept him out of the previous game. But if he has, it’s a bold call from Kings XI. Brian Lara on Star Sports says he’s “very disappointed” with Gayle’s exclusion. The only change for KKR is they’ve brought in Prasidh Krishna for Shivam Mavi and have opted to bat on a “dry” pitch according to DK.

We just haven’t turned it around in the big moments that’s why we are at the bottom of the table. Jordan comes in for Cottrell, who has a niggle and might miss out on a couple of games.
