MI has already reached the stadium. We are just an hour away from start. Who will book the first Playoffs berth tonight?

6.20pm
Kohli and De Villiers will be shouldering the RCB hopes tonight!

De Villiers has shown time and again, why he is regarded as one of the best T20 batsmen by turning the clock back on few occasions. If the RCB top-order fires in unison, then they can pummel the MI attack into submission. The likes of Chris Morris, Moeen Ali and Gurkeerat Mann, who form the lower-middle order, can also chip in with useful cameos.

With 415 runs against his name, Virat Kohli has been his side’s leading run-getter in this IPL season. The RCB skipper scored a fifty in his side’s last game against CSK and he will be eager to have another fine outing with the bat as he takes on the likes of Jaspirt Bumrah, Trent Boult and Co.

6pm

Exactly one hour to go for the toss.

Pitch Conditions: The pitch at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium is a bit slow which have been seen to help the bowlers. The spinners have also done well on this surface and there have been some innings with very low scores. But that is not to say that the batsmen can’t do much here. In fact, in the last two matches various teams have come close to breaching the 200 mark.

5.30pm
Can RCB pull off another thriller?

With an eye on a playoff berth, both the teams will give their best and who knows we may see another thriller between the two giants. The last time these two teams faced each other, we witnessed a Super Over-thriller in Dubai.

Virat Kohli after the loss against CSK said, “You have to be prepared on a given day to do well. All sides have good players, it’s about how you come out onto the park on that particular day. We are playing really good cricket and you have to accept you will lose games here and there.”
