Rajasthan Royals has won the toss and they have decided to bowl first in the IPL 2020 game against Kings XI Punjab. For Royals as expected Jos Butler has been included in the playingXI but their was no place for Chris Gayle once again in the KingsXI Punjab line up.
Rahul: “We still are looking to stick with the same process, and get a good start. We’ve seen that it’s either been a 140 or a 220+ ground, so as batsmen we need to not get too ahead of ourselves. The margin of error is small for te bowlers but the batsmen are under pressure.”
Smith: “It was a bit tacky in the first innings last game, got a bit wet, that’s the reason behind chasing. I’m assuming it will be the same. Jaiswal is out, Buttler is in. Miller’s out, Rajpoot is in.”
KXIP Playing XI: KL Rahul (c, wk), Mayank Agarwal, Nicholas Pooran, Karun Nair, Sarfaraz Khan, Glenn Maxwell, Jimmy Neesham, Krishnappa Gowtham, Sheldon Cottrell, Ravi Bishnoi, Mohammed Shami.
Rajasthan Royals Playing XI: Jos Buttler, Sanju Samson (wk), Steve Smith (c), Robin Uthappa, Rahul Tewatia, Tom Curran, Riyan Parag, Shreyas Gopal, Jofra Archer, Jaydev Unadkat, Ankit Rajpoot
