IPL 2020 SRH vs DC: Wriddhiman Saha sends strong message to India selectors and SRH management with his 45-ball 87

Sunrisers Hyderabad batsman Wriddhiman Saha was at his devastating best as he scored 87 off just 45 balls against Delhi Capitals in the match no. 47 of Indian Premier League 2020 on Tuesday.
With his ruthless innings, Saha sent a strong message to SRH management and Team India selectors as both of them have ignored Saha’s abilities for a long time now.
While Sunrisers management has picked Saha in the playing XI only twice, Team India selectors completely ignored the 26-year-old batsman from the limited-overs squad when they announced the squads for the upcoming Australia tour.
However, Saha answered with his bat on Tuesday and his whirlwind innings which included 12 fours and 2 sixes, proved that he is not only a Test player but a batsman of all formats.
Also, it was a lesson for Sunrisers’ management who benched him for most part of the IPL 2020.
Meanwhile, riding on Saha’s 87 and David Warner’s quick-fire 66, SRH scored 219/2 in the allotted 20 overs.
Earlier, Delhi Capitals had won the toss and opted to bowl first.

Delhi made no changes to their lineup while SRH brought in Kane Williamson, Wriddhiman Saha, and Shahbaz Nadeem to their playing XI.

Notably, it’s a do or die match for SRH as they will be knocked out of the tournament if they lose the game. They have eight points from 11 games. A win will keep them alive in the playoffs race.

On the other hand, Delhi will seal the playoffs berth if they beat SRH.
