IPL 2020: Top 10 bowlers with most wickets after Week 1

The 13th edition has began and the batsmen are back to business. The battle for orange cap has already began. Here is the Top 10.

Chennai Super Kings’s Sam Curran and Delhi Capital’s Kagiso Rabada currently leads the leaderboard for both the Orange Cap and Purple Cap after Week 1. The duo is currently tied with 5 wickets each. Sam Curran is the latest Purple Cap holder after he bagged a wicket in the match against Delhi Capitals on Friday in Indian Premier League 2020.

Curran removed DC skipper Shreyas Iyer to go on the top of the list of highest wicket-takers in IPL 2020.

The English cricketer now has 5 wickets in three games. The pacer has a strike rate of 14.40 and an economy rate of 7.33.

Kings XI Punjab pacer Mohammad Shami is second on the list with four wickets and an economy rate of 4.36, while RCB’s spinner Yuzvendra Chahal is third on the list with as many wickets as Shami.

Fourth and fifth on the list are KXIP players Sheldon Cottrell and Ravi Bishnoi respectively.
