IPL is a fast paced event and many people think that it’s about all about the swashbuckling batsman and destructive bowlers. However, that’s not the case as the role of all-rounders is important, considering the value they bring to their respective franchises as they can pitch in with both bat and ball.

It’s not a surprise that franchises have gone all out for all-rounders in IPL auctions as they provide much-needed balance to the team.
