IPL 2020: Virat Kohli celebrate 32nd birthday on a private yatch with Anushka and RCB teammates

Virat Kohli’s special birthday celebrations : Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli on Thursday celebrated his 32nd birthday with his teammates and wife Anushka Sharma on a private yacht in Abu Dhabi ahead of their playoff match in the Indian Premier League 2020. The skipper’s birthday celebrations saw Kohli cutting a cake with his pregnant wife Anushka while the entire squad and support staff cheered on and sang the birthday song.


The videos and pictures from Kohli’s birthday celebrations have gone viral on social media since being posted online. Kohli’s cake-smeared face was a hit on social media as RCB posted before-and-after pictures of the celebrations as well.

RCB pacer Mohammad Siraj also posted a video in which he could be seen dancing wildly with teammate Umesh Yadav.
“Miya bhai song last night yacht dairies,” Siraj captioned the video.

The celebrations provide a brief break for the RCB players before they get back to the grind in their preparations for the eliminator against Sunrisers Hyderabad, which will be played in Abu Dhabi on November 6.

RCB and SRH had qualified for the playoffs after finishing 3rd and 4th in the league stage, respectively. For Kohli-led RCB, IPL 2020 has been a season to cherish as the team qualified for playoffs after a gap of 4 long years.Kohli has played an important role in the team’s success this season, having scored 460 runs in 14 matches.

The loser of the eliminator will be directly knocked out of IPL 2020 while the winner will face either Mumbai Indians or Delhi Capitals in the second qualifier at the same venue on November 8.

Royal Challengers Bangalore are chasing their maiden IPL title once again this season. They have finished runners-up on three occasions in 2009, 2011 and 2016.
