IPL 2021: 3 reasons why Kuldeep Yadav should play for KKR in IPL 2021 Phase 2 – Indian Premier League’s 2021 edition’s second phase will kick start on September 19th in UAE. Teams have started gearing up for the second leg. The second last ranked team in the points table Kolkata Knight Riders will have to address many problems ahead of the IPL 2021 phase 2. One of the biggest thing to watch out for from KKR squad will be how the team mangement use Indian chinaman bowler Kuldeep Yadav. In the first phase KKR played seven matches but Kuldeep Yadav did not feature in any of those matches. However, things can be different for Kuldeep in the second phase.
We at Insidesport will take you through three reasons why KKR should play Kuldeep Yadav in UAE
IPL 2021: Kuldeep’s performance in UAE
Kuldeep has not played a single T20 international match in UAE but he has played six ODI in UAE. Which mean that he has an idea of how the pitch behaves in the UAE. He has picked 10 wickets in six games at an average of 23.70. However, the last time IPL 2020 was played was in UAE. He had a very poor run where he could only take 1 wicket in five games. However, his recent performance against Sri Lanka in the limited-overs series will boost his confidence ahead of the IPL 2021 phase 2.

IPL 2021: Sunil Narine out of form
KKR are in desperate need of a wicket-taking bowler with Pat Cummins already out of phase 2. Narine was one of the most feared bowlers in T20 cricket but over time batsmen have found a way to tackle him and have started dominating him. In the last 14 matches, he has picked only 8 wickets. Thus playing Kuldeep Yadav in place of Narine will not be a bad option for Eoin Morgan.

IPL 2021: Partnership between Kuldeep and Varun Chakravarthy
Varun Chakravarthy has emerged as one of the best spin bowlers in T20 cricket in the last two years. IPL 2020 was his breakout season for Varun. He picked 17 wickets in 2020 and seven wickets in IPL 2021 first phase. He along with Kuldeep will be a great option for KKR in order to take quick wickets on pitches in UAE.
