IPL 2021 Auction: From Dawid Malan to Moises Henriques, KKR might bid for these five players

IPL 2021 Auction: KKR might bid for these five players:  With just a week left for the IPL Auctions 2021, each team must be going through the 1,097 player’s charts who have registered their name for bidding. Kolkata Knight Riders, winner of 2012 and 2014 IPL trophy, will be looking to find proper squad balance to win the upcoming edition— IPL 14.

KKR has 10.75 left in their purse and needs to fill two overseas slots and six Indian players in the lineup. Ahead of the mini-auctions, let’s look at those players who can change the game’s context for the Kolkata-based franchise.

Dawid Malan
KKR can buy Dawid Malan in their lineup. The England batsman has scored 855 runs in 19 T20I matches at an average of 53.43. He bats at a strike rate of 149+ and has a hundred to his name.

Moises Henriques
The Aussie all-rounder is a handy player in the playing XI. He can contribute with the bowl and play some match-winning knocks with the bat as well. He was in tremendous form against India in T20Is. KXIP had last bought him for Rs 1 crore in IPL 2019.

Shakib Al Hasan
One of the key players in the IPL Auctions 2021, Shakib Al Hasan, could set the IPL auctions on fire. The experienced Bangladesh all-rounder can win many matches for KKR in the IPL 2021 season. He has already played seven seasons for the Kolkata-based franchise. SRH had last bought him for Rs 2 crore in IPL 12.

Cameron Green
Another Australian all-rounder Cameron Green could be a good pick for KKR in IPL 2021 auctions. Green has done well in the recently concluded Border-Gavaskar series. He can be the perfect replacement of the released player Chris Green.

Mujeeb Ur Rahman
With Kuldeep Yadav out of form, imagine Vaun Chakravrthi and Mujeeb Ur Rahman bowling in tandem in IPL 2021– a real threat to batsmen during the slog overs. If KKR can use them together, one can put a brake on scoring rate and the other to pick up wickets (due to run rate pressure).
