IPL 2021: India’s fastest-growing consumer audio and lifestyle brand, boAt has teamed up with seven IPL franchises ahead of IPL 2021. In the upcoming edition of the tournament, the company will launch limited edition products with insignia of the six IPL franchises Mumbai Indians (MI), Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Punjab Kings (PBKS), Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), Delhi Capitals (DC), and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).
To begin with, consumers can purchase the limited-edition boAt TWS Airdopes that will bear the logo and the colour of the said franchises during IPL 2021. Furthermore, players of Royal Challengers Bangalore and Punjab Kings will wear the boAt logo on their caps and helmets during the tournament.
“IPL is back to India and in its original summer window. Cricket has always been a religion in our country and the league will boost overall consumer confidence. We want to welcome the IPL teams back to India by launching TWS earbuds with the teams’ insignia,” said Aman Gupta, co-founder of boAt.

The company has already signed up brand ambassadors in Hardik Pandya, Shikhar Dhawan, Rishabh Pant, Prithvi Shaw, Mayank Agarwal and KL Rahul. All of them are associated with the named franchises in IPL 2021. Ahead of the upcoming IPL season, boAt has also launched a digital campaign named “SoundOfChampions” targeting youth and fan bases of MI, CSK, RCB, DC, KKR and PBKS.
The campaign tries to draw a parallel between cricket and audiophiles, especially the emotions and passion both evoke in the process. boAt isn’t the only company to indulge in a strategic partnership. Recently, MX Taka Tak, a competitor to now banned TikTok, also partnered with MI, RCB, RR, KKR, SRH, PBKS and DC for IPL 2021. In absence of TikTok in the Indian market, MX TakaTak is trying to expand its presence and popularity through patterning the IPL teams. During the tournament, players from all the seven franchises will create exclusive contents on MX TakaTak. CSK are the only team left to join the platform.
