IPL 2021 Covid-19 Updates: The Indian Premier League (IPL 2021) authorities themselves have admitted that foreign players are worried to continue participating in IPL in wake of fresh Covid-19 crisis that led to postponement of Kolkata Knight Riders vs Royal Challengers Bangalore. In middle of growing cases in IPL BIO-Bubble, England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has told their players that decision to quit or continue is entirely their call.

ECB on Monday asked players to take their own decision whether they want to return or continue playing. England stars were given two choices as the Covid wave ravaging India spread to two franchises.

2. Quit IPL 2021 and stay in quarantine for 10 days
England white-ball captain Eoin Morgan is among 11 English players currently taking part in the Indian Premier League as Covid-19 fears mount following positive tests at two teams.
“We continue to monitor and communicate with our players and staff currently in India. In terms of continued participation, it will be a decision taken by each individual. We acknowledge these are challenging times and our thoughts are with the people of India,” said an ECB spokesperson to Daily Mail.

IPL 2021 Covid-19 Updates: The richest cricket league in cricket is in complete turmoil after two players of Kolkata Knight Riders tested positive on Monday. This has led to postponement of KKR’s yesterday’s clash with RCB. Not only this, BCCI has also asked Delhi Capitals to go in quarantine.
Another news came in from Delhi leg as Covid-19 stuck three-time champion Chennai Super Kings camp. CSK’s CEO, bowling coach Laxmipathy Balaji & a cleaner at camp were tested positive. Their are also reports that 5 of the DDCA Groundsman also tested positive on Monday.
It is yet not clear if Tuesday’s match between Mumbai Indians vs Sunrisers Hyderabad will go ahead or not. Both the teams cancelled their practice sessions on Monday and their is no official statement by BCCI on today’s match.
