IPL 2021: CSK Ravindra Jadeja reveals this special someone wished him “speedy recovery”; Watch Video- Still recovering from a thumb injury, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja got a majestic visitor during a safari in the Jamnagar reserve. The spinner, who is set to play a key role for CSK in the IPL 2021 campaign, shared a video of a tiger that came out of the bushes during a safari on Saturday.

“He just came out to wish me speedy recovery,” Jadeja’s caption read. While it is difficult to spot a tiger at any reserves including Sunderbans and Jim Corbett National Park, Jadeja’s luck seemed to be on his side. With him in the car, the beats suddenly came out of the bushes and took a stroll before disappearing into the jungle.

Ravindra Jadeja, a crucial cog in CSK’s IPL 2021 hopes and India’s T20 World Cup campaign, is continuing his rehabilitation after surgery. He is expected to join the CSK camp in Chennai shortly to continue his rehabilitation program and also nets sessions.

Jadeja sustained the injury during India’s Australia tour in Sydney and had to be sent home. But in his place, Axar Patel, who made his Test debut against England at home, put up some extraordinary performances. He returned with 27 wickets from three Test matches including a fifer on his debut.

While Patel’s performances have been a blessing for Team India, it has also put captain Virat Kohli in a dilemma over team selection in the upcoming World Test Championship in Southampton. If Jadeja is fit and ready for selection, it would be interesting to see who does Kohli prefer.

As for Chennai Super Kings, Jadeja’s form with both bat and ball will be crucial in the IPL 2021 after an abysmal IPL 2020 where they finished seventh on the points table. Jadeja is now racing against time to be fit before the IPL 2021 begins on April 9.
