IPL 2021: Former Indian and current Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain MS Dhoni has hogged the limelight again, this time for reasons beyond the cricket circuit. Ever since his retirement in August 2020, Dhoni has often been seen taking up activities in his farm and starting new ventures otherwise. This time, however, it is MS Dhoni’s new style of moustache that has made the headlines.
MS Dhoni is relishing some family time with his wife Sakshi and daughter Ziva in Shimla as the lockdown restrictions eased in Himachal Pradesh. While capturing memories at the destination, Dhoni’s photos got leaked where fans went crazy over his new look.
IPL 2021: Enjoying donning the ethnics of Shimla, the former Indian captain can be seen wearing Shimla’s traditional topi (cap). The vernacular ethnic headgear is locally called ‘Kullu topi’.

Additionally, the Chennai Super Kings skipper amazed fans with a click, apparently with a facial accessory- a moustache. The picture of the former Indian skipper has spread like a forest fire, nearly storming the internet.
IPL 2021: On the field, however, he is yet to spark any fire with his bat. After a disappointing IPL 2020 campaign, he yet again failed to show any glimpse of his previous self. He looked sluggish and unconvincing with his willow every time he stepped out to bat.
However, as a captain, he has continued to shine. After the Indian Premier League (IPL) IPL 2020 debacle when CSK failed to make it to the playoffs first time in IPL history, the yellow brigade is back roaring again at IPL 2021.
In the first phase of the tournament held in India, CSK have won five of the seven matches they played this season as of now. With Delhi Capitals (DC) clinching the top of the points table, CSK currently sit on the second spot in the points table. On an individual front, however, MS Dhoni has not been so promising with the bat. (37 runs in 7 matches)
The men in yellow, under the captaincy of MS Dhoni, will resume from the same spot as the second leg of the tournament will kick off from September 19, in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The officials had to call off IPL 2021 mid-way after cases of Covid 19 were reported among players and staff of various franchises. As for MS Dhoni, it will also be a new beginning as he looks determined to get back in form.
