The blue brigade received a grand red carpet welcome on the arrival at their hotel- Sofitel Dubai The Palm. The luxury 5-star beach resort is situated on the East Crescent of the world-famous Palm Jumeirah.
The swanky hotel has a touch of French-Polynesian culture in its interiors and design. The hotel boasts of its location as it is amid lush greenery on the idyllic shores of the Arabian Gulf. IPL 2021 Delhi Capitals hotel in UAE for Phase 2: In the previous edition of the IPL, KL Rahul led Punjab Kings (Kings XI Punjab then) stayed at the venue. DC, who is staying for the first time at the venue, accommodated at Palace Downtown, Dubai during IPL 2020.
Delhi Capitals are the third franchisee to reach the Gulf country after Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings arrived on August 13.
