DC shared the glimpsed of their first training session where the plyers sweat out rigorously in the nets. The post captioned, “And we begin Our DC stars took to the field for their training session after quarantine#YehHaiNayiDilli #IPL2021“
The opening session of the training was to just warm up players in their respective areas of batting, bowling, and fielding. Any specialized training wasn’t undertaken by the franchisee. The likes of batting DC’s batting unit- Shreyas Iyer, Lalit Yadav, and Ripal Patel were seen hitting the big hits.
Among the bowlers- Siddharth Manimaran, Pravin Dubey, Lukman Meriwala, and Amit Mishra were seen rolling their arms. Vishnu Vinod was spotted undertaking wicketkeeping practice.
While the rest of the DC team had their first session, Shreyas Iyer, who had reached the Gulf Country on August 14, had been seen undertaking batting drills under coach Pravin Amre’s supervision in Dubai.
